Seapoint Canoe & Kayak Centre

RIVER RUNNERS SLIDER Paddling with purpose is what we do at Seapoint Canoe & Kayak Centre , Introducing people of all ages and abilities to the world of paddlesport.

Seapoint Canoe & Kayak Centre  came into being from a humble start to now a thriving well equipped coaching centre of excellence, enjoyed by over 2,000 people each year.

A Christian ethos, continues to stay at the core of the centre.

Seapoint Canoe & Kayak Centre is situated in the South East of Kent ‘The Garden of England’ and has easy access to both the sea and the beautiful Royal Military Canal

Seapoint Canoe & Kayak Centre offers all types of paddle sports including Sea Kayaking, Open Canoeing and Kayaking, on both flat and white water, Bell Boating and training in K1 craft.

We run sessions on Saturday mornings throughout the year, and on Thursday evenings during British Summertime . These sessions are aimed at anyone wanting to try canoeing or kayaking for the first time, as well as anyone wanting to improve on existing skills. The sessions are run on the canal or on the sea, depending on preference and of course, the weather.

We can offer dedicated sessions to groups on a date and time of your choosing, We already run many sessions for schools, Scouts, Guides, birthday parties, stag dos and many more.

If you want one to one tuition, then we are also happy to arrange that. - Please contact Rob on for details.

The centre also runs a number of courses during the year, from the starter awards for both young paddlers and adults, various intermediate awards, through to UKCC L1 and L2 Coach training and assessment.

All sessions are run by qualified British Canoe Union/British Canoeing coaches.

You can become an affilliated member of Seapoint where you can enjoy all the benefits of the Centre at a reduced cost over the year.

Seapoint is a very welcoming, very active kayaking club.  Passionate about paddling, centre manager and coach Rob is as effective as he is enthusiastic. Encouraging and highly adaptable, he always has an eye for a learning opportunity and is happy to advise about kit as well as techniques. Travelling from London it's a huge bonus that you can always get out on the water (the canal if not the sea) for the Saturday skills' sessions.
