Learn to paddle your kayak on moving water and rapids; sessions will take place at Yalding once a month during the winter with a trip to River Canche, Northern France in March/April.  Skills will be taught to British Canoe Union 3 star personal performance award.

Yalding on the River Medway is a recognised white water venue, you’ll learn the skills to paddle moving water surf standing waves and rescue your colleagues.  Arrangements for joining these sessions, book on using the booking form on the website, then meet at the centre at 1200 to load kayaks, with the aim of being away from the centre by 1245 to allow our coaches on the water in the morning to join the group.  You will be returned to the centre early evening.

River Canche, Northern France, put the skills learnt at Yalding in action on the moving water in France, sessions will be either based at one location for more learning to take place, or on a journey down the river stopping to use your skills on the features on the river, it might even be possible to do your 3 star assessment.  To book on to this one, use the trip booking form available clicking on the link Seapoint Canoe Centre Trip Booking Form France 2012
